    Key achievements

    • 6 years Associate professor at DTU Process and Innovation and Absalon University College, Industry 4.0 and Robot Integration, and 4.0 manufacturing.

    • Premium mobile legend @ Nokia (1999-2006) – Drove the Total Product Offer for the luxury Nokia 8800/8801 family; the handset was crowned GSM Association “Best Phone of the Year 2005”. He also earned Nokia’s 2003 Patent Festival 2-prize for the “Nokia Fitness Coach” concept and is named on eight granted Nokia patents.

    • Inventor & patent-holder – Owns 10 + patents across mobile, wearables, and sensor technologies, including filings for EEG hardware while at a neuromarketing start-up at Nielsen Gmbh, where he set up and led a team to deliver the first dry-EEG helmet.

    • Design entrepreneur – Founded OLTO Pte. Ltd.;

    • Rail-tech IoT pioneer – Co-founded and serves as CEO/CTO of Attensys.io GmbH (Berlin, 2017-). The company’s real-time Seat Informer system won the Deutsche Bahn Mindbox challenge in 2019 and is being piloted by major rolling-stock makers.

With a background that combines electronics engineering and graphic design, Olrik has built a reputation as an agile product owner who can take ideas from whiteboard sketch to award-winning hardware, consistently blending user-experience flair with solid engineering discipline.

  • Mehran Mahinpour Tirooni is a Berlin-based industrial designer, electronics engineer and entrepreneur who founded and runs BÄR Technology GmbH, a company that builds rugged, ready-to-deploy unmanned vehicles for land, water and air.

    Key achievements

    • Founded BÄR Technology (Berlin, 2020) – leverages 20 + years of UAV experience to deliver “ready-to-go & operate” drones for rescue and industrial missions, leading an 11-person engineering team.

    • Patented counter-drone system – lead inventor on “Apparatus and method for repelling flying objects” (DE102022004187A1 / EP4339551A1, 2024), giving BÄR platforms an integrated anti-UAV defense capability.

    • Neuro-tech inventor – co-inventor of Nielsen Consumer’s dry-electrode EEG headset (US 12 167 920 B2, granted Dec 17 2024), advancing lightweight brain-signal capture for neuromarketing and tele-medicine.

    • RC performance pioneer – as head of design at Mikado Model Helicopters he created the LOGO-series canopies, and earlier crafted Hacker’s A40/A50 brushless motors that became benchmarks for 3-D helicopter flight. (aeroexpo.online, Modellbau Lindinger)

Across hobby helis, industrial robotics and wearable sensors, Tirooni’s work is marked by lightweight composite structures, integrated electronics and a “plug-and-fly” user-experience ethos.

About us

We engineer autonomous robotics that safeguard nations — and serve society.
Born in Copenhagen and strengthened through our partnership with Berlin-based Bär Technology, Bollværk fuses two decades of German UAV craftsmanship with Danish expertise in safety-critical electronics, mission readiness, and NATO-aligned operations. The result is a family of modular drones and ground robots that are as effective on a storm-lashed frigate as they are over a wildfire, a city skyline, or a radar test range.

Our Mission

To give operators—military or civil—the tools they actually need in the field, delivered with the speed, robustness, and openness demanded by today’s threat landscape.

What We Build

  • Tactical ISR & Search-and-Rescue Robotics

    • Platforms: LUMOS flare UAV, PANTHER UGV

    • Defence tasks: night-time reconnaissance, last-50-metre route clearing

    • Civil uses: firefighting & storm-rescue missions, police overwatch

  • Modular AI-Robotics Development Platform

    • Platform: MADD developer drone

    • Defence tasks: rapid sensor/AI prototyping inside FMI testbeds

    • Civil uses: university research projects, Industry 4.0 pilot lines

  • Counter-UAS Training & Threat Simulation

    • Platform: B15 Delta target drone

    • Defence tasks: live-fire C-UAS drills, radar & EW calibration

    • Civil uses: airport and power-grid defence exercises

All platforms share an open architecture (STANAG-ready, ROS-compatible) and snap-fit payload bays for IR emitters, jammers, multi-band RF links and advanced compute. Hardware is ruggedised for Nordic winters, salt-spray decks and desert heat.

Dual-Use by Design

Each system is conceived as a dual-use asset: the same flight controller that helps a brigade track loitering munitions can guide a coast-guard SAR sortie; the same target drone that sharpens air-defence radars can validate wind-farm surveillance arrays. This philosophy multiplies return on investment for our customers and accelerates innovation cycles across domains.

Services & Support

  • Operational leasing & MRO – keep fleets current without capital lock-in

  • Data analytics & AI hosting – secure cloud pipelines from raw feed to retrained model

  • Certified operator courses – NATO-aligned curricula for soldiers, police and first-responders

  • Custom integration – SCADA, PLC, C2 or bespoke telemetry; our engineers close the gap
